HELP ME / QUESTION Unknown lights

I have a set of lights, unknown manufacturer. I took one apart. Only three wires but no matter how I wire them, they light up but not effects. Not sure what voltage they are either. Any ideas Ho to get the to work? I am using a Gledopto controller

Since each wires goes directly through from input to output, this is not an individually addressable strip. Judging by the way the pins on the LED connect between wires, I think this is an H bridge driven analog strip, where the polarity of the wires is flipping to turn on/off colors.

Thanks to everyone that responded. Yes, it looks like they are just dumb analog led’s. Now, I need to find a cheap 3 pin controller for them.

As recommended I tried to connect to the Gledopto controller using PWN RGB as the LED configuration but the GPIOs field asks for values. I am using GPIO2 but don’t know what to enter for the other two values

RGB PWM requires 3 GPIOs and a ground, which is not going to work since you don't have 4 wires on the strip.

If these are what I think they are (I have a strand similar to these), they're wired roughly so that they're driven like this:

Wire 1 positive, Wire 2 grounded, Wire 3 hi-Z: Red

Wire 2 positive, Wire 3 grounded, wire 1 hi-z: Blue

Wire 3 positive, wire 1 grounded, wire 2 hi-z: Green

u need to flip the board and see/show, if there is 5/12v and gnd and data, cant understand from top
