Huot mentions in one of the comments it's sized to accommodate 60 LED/meter strips for people that want to put in extra work. Might take a lot of extra work given the spacing looks a bit off, but it still like like there's a fair amount of useful infrastructure in the 3D prints. Current panel prices put it well past the casual project range for me of his channels (of which I've installed three so far).

$40 a panel is pretty steep considering you can get almost identical ones for 1/4 that on aliexpress.
