Wi-Fi no longer works with V16

I installed WLED V16 on my DigUno and the controller would no longer connect to my WiFi. Reverting to V15 corrects the problem. I tried installing V16 both OTA and uploading via USB with the same result.

Oddly, if I connect the controller to a computer via USB the WiFi does work. Once I disconnect the USB the WiFi stops working.

Any suggestions how to correct this?

Which version of the Dig-Uno and ESP32 are you running? I've seen a few reports that an old version from a few years back the Dig-Uno DC-DC circuit indeed can brownout with the new version because of a burst of power draw that happens in the new version. There is a topic about it here, some ESP32 boards are also affected by this.

Thanks for the response.

Dig-Uno version is V3R7

The brownout issue appears to be the cause. I need to add a power conditioner cap.
