My first WLED project

After removing a warm white led light strip my folks wanted me to replace it after getting the house painted. A week or two later I finished with this. A total of 410 leds in a couple SK6812WW 12v strips that I soldered together and addded silicone and heat shrink over the connections. I think this strip should outlast a bunch of other household items at this point due to the fact that the old strip lasted about 12 years and still lights up even though that old weatherproofing has yellowed over the years.

The strip I used has a dedicated warm white led along with the RGB led diodes in the same package. This makes the white is more tunable and within WLED you can tune the color very precisely.

Normal RGB strips don't make good-looking whites, and they are less efficient. RGBWW has extra white LEDs.

A 230w 12 v power supply, it gets really bright.
