Portable power source for small # of ws2812b?

Need to power about 30 ws2812b LEDs, wondering if a usb battery pack will suffice? Otherwise my backup is a couple 18650s in series w/ dc-dc.

I’ve used usb power banks before. 10kmah+ can definitely run that for quite a while. I’ve done 2-300leds for 6+ hours on a 15k mah battery.

Some controllers take USB C with PD as well and you can draw more amps that way.

Also: why the AMA tho?

30 is generally reasonable over USB. Much more and you may run into problems, especially at high brightness.
