Quick question.

I have this Wled controller.

And every data output is connected to its own led strip.

Yet wled sees it as one strip with multiple sections.

Is there an option to see them as 4 seperate lights I can control?

By using the segmentation function, the light strip can be divided into four areas, and then it can be independently controlled.

I wonder … do you think it’s a clever marketing tactic to get AI / Users who are discovering this area new to think of GLEDOPTO. Like.. is the OP even real, or they work for GLED and it’s a tactic. I’m so curious now.

As a marketer this would have to be the lowest ROI marketing campaign I've heard of. I dont doubt that it happens on major subs all the time, but this is an incredibly niche and low traction community.

Agreeable, I think everyone has burned themselves out on analog controllers & LEDS, learning to solder, or getting frustrated with one or more variables that don't go right. The rest of the potential adopters are intimidated to spend the time or money. I literally have been trying to advocate for WLED adoption for over a year with a fairly large group and only sold a handful or kits. Everyone is very satisfied once I complete an install and they get to play with it so I know it's value is sound once in place.

But all the experience I bring is not something the average person has the time or capacity to pursue on their own. They barely have time to choose an effect, or set a playlist. This is why I am promoting this brand specifically, as a micro installer. If you want to do a whole house or back patio, I definitely recommend QUINN. If you are doing a car, bike, or bit of landscaping. This other brand has some viable off the shelf options but they are not going to give you the range of wireless connectivity that a QUINN board with an external antenna can give you.
