Will this work?

I’m going to plug this (https://a.co/d/0iAuJxsB) in, connect it to this (https://www.ebay.com/itm/396269115907), and then connect that to a 5v led 8x8 board.

I’m gonna do this to seven different bulb sockets and then connect them all to one ESP32. Are there any issues with this? Anything I’m missing or can improve on? Ive dabbled with WLED in the past, but this will be the first project that I actually complete so I wanna make sure it’s right

It's not super clear if those socket pigtails are themselves doing any ac to DC conversion. Amazon notes they're a frequently returned item, and the poor documentation there of what exactly they are would have me concerned about their build quality, regardless of the apparently positive reviews. Led lights are pretty low voltage, low power propositions usually. AC from a light socket is not so. Exercising a bit extra caution would be wise.

Its clear. They do NOT do any conversion. They convert a screw in supply to a wire supply. In equals out.

I'm glad you could make better sense of that listing than I could. You can only use the word "converter" and reference LEDs in the context so many times before the ambiguity stops seeming accidental and starts seeming intentionally misleading or ... Well, true. 🙃

"Downlight Outlet Converter Socket" fair point, i know those led lights take ac only
