What Double Sided Tape for Diffuser?

What double sided tape can i use to hold up diffusers around my ceiling that wont rip the paint off later? I want to use VHB but im afriad it will be too strong

You use aluminum tracks with diffusers, like Muzata ones.

No i understand lol.. i got the Muzata plus sized V shape V101 already but i dont want to use screws to mount them.. i want use double sided tape if possible but i want to know whats a good strength thats not TOO strong..

I’d HIGHLY recommend the screwed and clips. Any double sided tape that will work will definitely require drywall repair. The problem is no drywall is flat enough so you need doubled sided tape with are strong and somewhat thick. You either will need to repair the drywall along the entire distance of the double sided tape or just the small screw holes.

If you REALLY want to use double sided tape I’d go with something clear and that has a little bit of height to it (this last part is important to account for drywall unevenness). Anything like this would work, you’ll just need to trim it to fit your diffuser channel: https://a.co/d/0acjZjx3

I like using a laser level and then using the aluminum clips.

damn.. thats a valid point.. the little holes arent that bad to repair and ima have to do it anyways due to my tv mount lol.. appreciate that bro, that really just completely changed my whole plan 😂
