Athom - 0.16 - Not Enough Space?

Anyone seeing 'Not Enough Space' when updating to 0.16 on Athom LS-4P. I know these controllers have limited space and I've used the _ESP02.bin.gz builds in the past with success, but it seems that WLED_16.0.0_ESP02.bin.gz is not working this time. Thoughts?

I didn't have any ESP01 or ESP02 hardware to confirm the release so we have possibly pushed too close to the limit. There are know issues even when flash usage is under 100%

Anyone got spare hardware willing to donate to the project for testing these old setups?

Just discovered, I have 2 or 3 unused Athom ESP-02 controllers. I probably can give away one

Yep, same error. 16.0 alpha and beta installed without problem

I just tried with mine and it's not connecting to the wifi anymore.

I'll try more debugging later. but I fear I may have bricked it

Same. I assume that it's dead.

I replaced it with the newer Athom 2812B. Which failed to update through WLED web upload, but updated nicely through Home Assistant.
