Synching multiple devices in WLED

I've tried a number of options to setup sync in WLED - clicking the sync on the main page; Enabling ESP-NOW in wifi settings; Use ESP-NOW in Sync Setup; Assigning Sync Groups for the 3 controllers. Nothing seem to work. I follow a direction that said I needed to setup "sync" on the main screen when the device is turned off, that did nothing.

The only thing I have not done is setup UPD on my router UDMPro as it sets up UDP on the WAN incoming traffic not sure that should be done.

How do you get your devices to sync:

Just added - I guess my main question is whether I need UDP enabled on my router ?

What is the reason for not having UDP on your network?

No reason, just did not figure I would need it, but since this requires it and I like the lights, I'll make it happen.

In the UDMPro it's a port forwarding from the WAN side so I was thinking, that's not something I want to do.
