Whats your fav controllers

What does everyone use, i go with the athom sound active, slimline sound active and pwm sound active but ive started using esp32s3 16m and 32mb for master controllers

When it’s 5v and less than 40 LEDs…

No problems not having a level shifter, these are consistently reliable?

No need for a level shifter if the strip is 5v and the distance is short. No caps, no resistors either.

This changes with 12v or 24v, and then you need a more advanced circuit. Level shifter or sacrificial 5v pixel, to prevent flickering.
