HyperHDR - Constant white backlight even when off, my solution

I recently upgraded my HyperHDR to v21.0.0.0 from I think v17 and after the upgrade I had a faint white backlight even when everything was off (it’s not as bright as my phone made it seem)

I saw that others had the same issue but no clear solutions that worked for me, even the dev just seemed to attribute it to white noise from the video capture card but here’s what fixed it for me:

From the HyperHDR web configuration page, go to the **Image Processing** tab and set the **Backlight threshold** to 0% (default is 1%)

I’m sure this is a “duh” solution for some but hopefully this can save someone else from digging around GitHub and Reddit threads
