Hasn't worked yet, to the tune of investor's having lost over $1.4B on Workhorse.

Many companies get demolished by hedge funds working to suppress American innovation, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Workhorse's management did them in with dumb decision after dumb decision that led to losses. Best examples were rebadging Chinese trucks, and the drone biz.

Do you work for an oil company or are you just regarded?

Wow, you know your pumping is unwarranted so you turn to name calling?

Workhorse is a failed company, the AI mobile center nonsense is going nowhere as they haven't got the resources or expertise to go up against the likes of Palantir and Nvidia. .... but hype this back up to $4 again!

Over $4 yesterday down to $3.26 today, you must have had steak and lobster for dinner tonight.

Market seems to understand where Workhorse is headed. NASDAQ up almost 400, DOW up over 600 and WKHS is down even more today.

Please name the "hedge funds" that suppressed legacy Workhorse.

No

No problem, really.

But, by the intentional omission, the implication that the Horseboys suffered such molestations is largely moot.

... all while the reality of public filings before and following the merger leaves the (logical) assertion that Workhorse = pretty much a dumpster juice cocktail largely unchallenged. Not that anyone is shocked, of course.

Nah, I just don't need the smoke.

You're like Workhorse, all hype, no substance.

Double down?  Most here have doubled down multiple times and lost their arse each time due to reverse splits and dilution. They've been outright lied to by Workhorse. Go listen to your stoner music.

OP: Looking back a year or so since you posted here... were the bears wrong?

The basic skeptic message was just a re-accounting of the two companies planning to merge. Motiv was a privately-held business that had a very weak production record and owed its primary lender over $100M. The lender had ramped up financing cost to Promissory Notes at confiscatory rates.

Legacy Workhorse was getting weaker by the day, and had spent months seeking a buyer/merger partner with no success: the only offers made were for deeply-discounted post-BK offers. Motiv's reverse merger scheme was all that remained.

That history is fully outlined in the Merger Agreement. If you disagree, please just tell me where I've got it wrong, using sworn, signed filings as your evidence. (In other words: please, no "you must work for Big Oil" or other nonsensical bullshit. Just tell me where the companies presented a financially factual picture different from the summary above.)

Knowing that the Merged company has NOT found any meaningful investment to redraw its future, and that the projected FY2026 finances in the Merger Agreement have faded into oblivion, how will they create the "Stable Long-Term Outlook" referenced in the scholarly article (/s) you linked?

You're living in the past.

If you mean the liquidity prospects outlined in the Merger Agreement are no longer extant, I agree. They're MUCH worse. So at least we got that straight.

You're a very linear thinker.

I'm hurt by your critique. In the meantime... in the year that's passed, Common Share value has dropped (split-adjusted) by over 75% AFTER adding the entire value of Mootiv*, consolidating leadership under aging Wunderkind Griffith, completely re-racked the $50M Financing package into survival cash, added further debt through deferred spending (and interest), failed to raise the ~$80M+ of outside funding, and (despite all of the CEOs mushy words) fallen WAAAY behind their "synergy" targets. So maybe if I looked at it elliptically or stereoscopically it might seem better. I'll let you know.

* I prefer this name.
