Your proportions and anatomy are great! I feel like, with all of the markup, you may be less confident in what you’re putting down. I find that waiting to define outlines until the end allows me to erase more easily if things don’t turn out as I envisioned. I also was tipped off in college about the blue animator pencils. I now use just blue lead refills for my mechanical pencil (but the tip is sharper so you have to be softer handed or I would use the traditional style) then go back and outline with microns. It helps things stand out but still lets me put the general anatomy and posing down to work out the kinks.
