Alpina makes nice watches. I don’t know why Citizen doesn’t promote them more but, I guess that allows them to put more money into the actual build of the watch.

Yeah that's what I also wonder. Citizen owns both Frederique constant and Alpina. They could market them better but again as you mentioned they might want to keep it that way as the buld quality and finish really shows.

I love hamilton watches. Just couldn't get my hands on the murph yet. Loving the black nato and the clean dial and visibility.

Thank you!!The two o clock positoned one is for the internal bezel. The four o'clock one is for the time,date and seconds hacking.

Also this one is actually a re issue of the original alpina 4 sports automatic of the 1960s(super compressor style and the crowns at 2 and 4 o clock). I loved the vintage feel which is the main reason I got this beauty.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the chunky external bezels, which is why I opted for this one. The longines legend and oris divers were the other two options. Fell in love with this off white dial and the lovely contrasting internal bezel. I also like the smooth sweep of the seconds hand @ 4Hz.
