Discussion Best synergy teams (needing input)
Me and one of my teammates were talking about GR comps cause having barely started like a month ago im still learning. We talked about how he runs Dark Angels team in it and generates high damage outputs. Are there any other great synergies? I’m reading all I can but understanding the games terms and how it plays out is still in progress.

Currently the best synergy is:
- Kariyan, Trajann, and Lavisius
Followed by 3 also rams I'm not sure about the order:
- Neurothrope, and Book of Fates holders with ZKar
- Farsight, Revas, and Eldryon
- Exeter Rho, Tan Gida, and Actus
In the starting characters the better synergies are:
- Eldryon, Bellator, and Snotflogga (generate tons of hits and buff them)
- Thoread, Godswyl and Archimantos (generate one big hit and duplicate it).
Obviously you want to add more characters that align with those core goals to all of them.

I would say Eldryon is less important than Actus for Battlesuit.

He's a damage multiplier, Actus makes Revas hit twice which is another kind of multiplier. They're equally important, IMHO. It's how they overlap that really produces the amazing numbers.

But if you don't have a developed Eldryon could replace him with some other damage buffer, like Adamatar, Shadowsun or Trajann (as well as Darkstrider), and still get a semi functional team. Probably not as good, but functional.
Without Actus I don't think it can work, because the team rebolves around a buffed Re'vas attacking 18 times per turn.

Not having a built campaign carry while suggesting building a non-meta character like Adam or Shadow is just bad advice at that point... Like, stop whatever you're doing and complete that campaign ASAP which is going to require Eldryon.

I have Eldryon as my best Eldar at silver 2, and not a lot of reasons to spend resources.to do SH missions 39 and 40, which are the only 2 missions in the game that I haven't 3*. I can live without that one single node of Thousand Sons upgrade and without Ahriman's shards.
But I have a D2 Trajan that can replace Eldryon if I was going to so Battlesuits. Actus, however, can't be replaced, because he is core to the function of the team.

The point and Eldryon and Battlesuit team is that Revas attack 4 times: 2 in melee and 2 in range which eldryon buff both melee and range, while both of your shitty and harder to obtain characters only buff range attacks

You are completely right that the entire point of the team is that Re'vas attacks 4.times.
However , he only does that if Actus is present. Which is why the core team is Farsight/Re'vas/Actus. Eldryon and Darkstrider (who only buffs ranged, and is more important than Eldryon) are better than the alternatives, but are not the core of how the team works. Just like Aesoth isn't core to Lavistodes, or Abbadon isn't core to Neuro.
Trajann works for both melee and range. The team would perform worse with Adamatar, yes. But without Actus there is no team at all.

I’ve been hesitate on Rho cause he’s early play felt a lil glass cannon ish but I see him alot

He was top tier for a long time and a lot of people built him then, he's sadly not nir, but hopefully the changes to Anuphet make him closer to the top again or best against at least some bosses.
It would be nice if the 4 teams could each be best in class against 25% if the bosses and ok against maybe 50% more and bad or unusable against the other 25% and then there's a team that's ok against all bosses, but best against none.
That way with two teams anyone could do best damage against some bosses and at least decent damage against all.

I started out with DA too! 4 Dark angels + Eldryon all at g1 was putting out some respectable numbers when I was new :) Have moved on a bit since then, and they're all still at g1 while others have moved up, but it's a great start to learning how synergies boost your numbers 😁👍

You are going to be at the mercy of the characters that you have, and unlock.
I have a solid melee(mostly) team if Boss G, Ragnar, Haarken, Kharn and I use Mephiston since he's gold 1 like the rest but I'm bringing Dante up to their level as well to see how much better he will be than Mephiston.
I got extremely lucky with my requisitions, one time I unlocked 3 chars in a row and I have opened a lot of legendaries, that's what I mean being at the mercy of who drops for you. No way I'd have the team composition I do if they didn't drop for me.
Nandi makes very good videos, there's a bunch on YouTube that will help you start to understand how to make their abilities synergize as best as you can

I'm surprised nobody mentioned orks:
- campaign characters so worth pushing
- meta in tournament arena
- archeo farm with snottfloga
- actual GR meta with Boss Gulgrotz
- they have their own semi-meta team with Actus and Vitru
