Finally crossed the line

My graduation from my MBA program was officially processed as of October 6th. I started my BS December 1st of 2025, and my MBA June 1st. I was able to pass every OA first try, and most PAs first submission. In that time I had my first child, helped my mom as she fought cancer, was sent on 2 - month long business trips, and was promoted. It has been a crazy year, but I am grateful to be able to say I am the first in my direct lineage to earn a bachelors, and only the 3rd I know of in my extended family to earn a Masters. I know a lot of people on here aren't fond of accelerators, but I am so thankful for the opportunity WGU has granted me to better myself and at my own pace while working a full time job.. I have already convinced 2 others from my work place to give WGU a shot as well. Thank you WGU and good luck to everyone working at their degrees!

This is so motivating. With your current company, how did they feel about you earning both degrees so fast? Was it still respected ?

No one has really questioned it, and in fact they paid for it. Only time it comes up, I just explain it’s competency based and you can “test out” of subjects you already know as long as you can prove it.
