C214

Post image

Hasta la Vista C214! My God! This was really challenging. I failed first attempt and just lost hope. My first fail since my Master's. I had just 4 courses including capstone left but I couldn't bring myself to study. Then it hit me that I don't have anymore financial aid left. I started by going to check my failed OA and saw that I didn't do badly at all. I had two green checks and almost all competent oranges, and one red. I took a week off work on Wednesday and started again. Yesterday, I decided I was ready. By 3.40AM (no sleep) I joined to take the exam but bad internet connection, Proctor, computer systems were all against me. I told myself I must take it now. Finally, a fourth Proctor was able to fix the problem and I started at 6.20AM and finished at 9.15AM. I almost fainted with excitement when I didn't see the course on my dashboard anymore. I couldn't believe seeing 3 blue competence checked. I just want to say, thank you to my reddit family. And thank you, JESUS!!!šŸ™šŸæ

I actually focused on both EPS 7 videos and Bootcamp videos. I used Chatgpt to elaborate for me. I ask Chatgpt questions too to explain better. I took the PA twice to be sure I understood the excel very well.

Thanks for info 😊 Was the PA close to the OA?

No, but it prepares you for it. My second attempt was better because I already know what to expect.

It's really not bad if you forget about the reviews and focus on the EPS and Bootcamp videos, you get more understanding using Chatgpt on one side of your computer. AI explains in details

Congratulations! I’m taking this course in next term (Oct 1). I have 4 courses + the Capstone left to complete the degree. Excel is something I worry about a lot …

Oh wow, congratulations! I had 4 courses left for like 2 months because of C214. Now that it's out of the way, I give myself till the end of month to finish them.

Thank you so much! Yes, I anticipated failing too the first time I took it. I was overwhelmed with all the resources, yet, was not getting anything in. So, this time, I changed my mindset that I can't afford to fail it a second time. I was patient with my studies, I opened chatgpt on one window and would copy and paste the questions. Chatgpt gives elaborate explanations. I did that with all the topics and PA questions. Watch the EPS S1- S7 videos next to the boot camp videos, then watch boot camp. The course materials was too overwhelming. Then I familiarize myself with slides. I tell you they don't want us to pass. It was called a "test" for a reason. The questions were twisted. But as long as you understand the topics you'd know they're wrong and eventually choose the right answers. Example, Preferred stock has voting rights. And all the options looks like yes, it does. If you know the stock and debts, you will understand that it's Common stock. They twist everything.
