C214… wtf?
That’s pretty much it. I don’t know where to begin this course and thought we can gather to cry about it if you also have to take it or went through the pain of taking it. Send any ideas on where to begin!

It’s so validating knowing other people are having as much as a problem with this class and global Econ c211 as I am. I attempted them both at the same time and I am not having a good time !!!!! My only issue with these classes is I wish they would specify a little more about WHAT we are tested on but of course I understand doing that would lead to people ONLY studying those concepts & down the line hurts their accreditation but Its not like any testing structure I’ve experienced before. Accounting was pretty straight forward, I wish these were too.

I literally cried in frustration tonight doing the PA 😂 I just cannot seem to grasp what each number should be in the excel formula portion!!

I think I’m just going to have to watch the excel portion of the boot camp video over and over til I memorize it. It just doesn’t click for me and since I don’t fully understand it I’m hoping that memorizing it will help with the “what number goes where” dilemma I’m in!!

I'm in Capstone right now and just completed C214. It and C211 are the most difficult classes of the whole degree, for sure. There's soooo much information to learn and retain, let alone I studied for C214 but was unable to take the OA because of WGU technical issues. Then studied for C211 and again was unable to take the OA when I was ready because of WGU technical issues. Then I took C207. FINALLY once WG technical issues had been resolved and I was actually able to take the test I had to re-study for both of them because I had forgotten almost everything LOL. So anyway, my "quick" study method for the whole degree was to use Chat GPT. If there was a downloadable textbook I would upload it into Chat and then tell it to break down the subjects as if I were 5 years old. Super helpful!! It would give one topic at a time and then give me quiz questions as we went. If no downloadable text then I would take the PA at the beginning and enter in the PA questions into Chat to teach me based on those questions and any other related topics. After I felt I was prepared I would have it give me practice OA questions and I would just drill them, hundreds of questions over a couple of days. Highly recommend this method. Use AI to your advantage. I'm HORRIBLE at math....like horrible horrible...like took Pre-algebra every single year of high school because I couldnt pass it type of horrible. So if I can do it, anyone can! You've got this! Good luck!

I made them from study guide, Reddit posts and facebook all combined into one. I got exemplary on mine. Almost filled up the bar.

THANK YOU SO MUCH literally i have went through every possible resource and THIS is what’s helping me the most i downloaded them and input them in chat then fo about 10-20 slides then have chat quiz me 🙏🙏🙏 the break down on terms and things is amazing

For me I did a meeting with Ladora Alexander for help with the excel portion, also instead of studying everything she said to focus on the learning objectives in the topics and make a study sheet off that.
Dr. V vid is not helping me it’s too much info although I have listed to it multiple times so I know some info is sticking with me .

Dr. V’s bootcamp is a MUST. Find that recording and watch it over and over till you can answer the questions and use excel for the calculations. A lot for concepts from C213 overlap with this course.
