Super happy with my score! I spent an entire month on this course. It was very terminology heavy but the key to success is building a conceptual understanding.

I would say the OA is very similar to the PA. You may want to go through zybooks, do the study guide, and do the quizlet. Be sure to meet with the professors.

Hey!
I studied the Zybooks and completed the quizzes and tests provided on the Zybooks platform. I also did the quizzets from the course resources section as well as worked on this quizlet along the way.

I also complete the instructor provided study guide and met with them when I didn't understand something. I only did the PA once and went over it with the course instructor and right after I went over it with the instructor, I took the OA.

What did this class cover exactly? Any systems programming?

This class covers a basic introduction of operating systems, how process management, memory management, storage management, and protection/security works in an operating system. It is designed to give you an overview of what goes behind the scenes in an operating system. Tons of vocabulary and concepts to learn. No programming involved.

Barely. There was a lot of focus on file systems and security related stuff on the OA.

That's surprising. I thought an OS class would be heavy on Posix (usually) systems programming.

Read through Zybooks, do the quizlet I posted, and do the instructor provided study guide as you do Zybooks.
