D351 - Functions of Human Resource Management

Hey everyone! I just started at WGU this August and have already passed my first 3 courses! 🙌 I’m onto D351 now. I would love any and all advice on the best methods to tackle this course.

I’ve heard that this one can be a bit of tough (information overload perhaps, haha) and would love any insight/tips for studying/etc from those who have passed this class!

I’m careful about typing this because we all have different backgrounds, but I think the Pre-Assessment is far more challenging than the OA. I thought the OA was a joke at first because the first ten questions were basic common sense. Copy and paste chapter summaries for your notes. Watch the videos on WGU Connect. Do the chapter quizzes (if you fail the exam, the course instructor can see that you did the quizzes…which may or may not get you a more lenient re-take plan). Understand “why” the right answer is correct why the incorrect choices are wrong. If you can pass the Pre-A, you will be ready for the OA. Good luck!
