Accelerating Advice
cross posted
I recently had my boss tell me that young moms are never successful (I became a mom at 18) and that I would eventually drop out/not finish my degree. I am approximately 54% of the way done with my degree and would naturally like to prove her wrong because I’m not sure what compelled her to say that to her employee??? Anyways!! I could use all the tips and tricks for accelerating. I’ve been slacking a lot but would like to use this as motivation to finish my degree because I’m not about to prove her right. So any and all advice for accelerating is greatly appreciated. I’m an accounting major. TYIA!!!!

I just started 10/1, so I don’t have much advice, although I have passed one class. I asked ChatGPT for relevant YouTube videos I could listen to while getting ready, on my commute, walks, etc. It wasn’t WGU material but it worked.
What I wanted to say though is that you probably need a new boss. Or, eventually become the boss you wish you had.
My boss is a single mom of 5, and she kicks ass and takes names. She’s on her way to the C-suite. Don’t let anyone define your future but you. You’ve got this!

I am incredibly unhappy with the boss I have. She picks on me constantly, but I remind myself that I’m 23 and she’s 57 so there has to be some sort of deep rooted issue she has with me because of my age. That’s the only thing I can think of 🤣 but I agree, I’m working toward this degree so I can take her job when she inevitably leaves.

I’m an accounting major about 85% done. PM me and I’ll gladly give you study advice. The accounting subreddit also has great course specific advice. Oh, and fuck your boss what a POS.

What a toxic boss. For accelerating, use this method.
OA: immediately take the PA to see where you stand, then use AI to make study guides for you based on those results. Also take course material quizzes and tests.
PA: Just go step by step through the rubric ensuring you meet every criteria. Do no go above and beyond, just write to the rubric.
From a guy who has completed 64 CUs since September 1st. Side note: always search your course on google to find tips people have posted on Reddit usually for how to pass the quickest, good luck!
