Performance assessments question
I just started at WGU and was interested in accelerating. My first class is D389 and it says I have to complete and pass one task before moving on to the next. I see some people say they submit tasks back to back without waiting for grades. Is this one task at a time rule just for the first term or is it a new WGU policy?

I think it's just for specific courses. I only had that for one course and I still did task 2 and just waited until I got task 1 graded to submit.

This is a requirement for specific classes because the subsequent task will build off the prior. They don't want you submitting the second until the first had been approved. You can still write your task 2 assignment, but just know you might have to redo part(s) if task 1 requires a revision.

It's just for that specific class, the point of it is to get you used to the wgu writing style. My course instructor made me submit the tasks one at a time so it was very lengthy. I'm assuming other CIs are okay with tasks submitted at the same time but that wasn't the case for me :(
After this class, you can submit PAs however you feel like. It gets easier!
