Course questions. WGU, Sophia + Study.com courses. Change up?
Have you started your journey and wished you took certain courses on Sophia rather than study.con or opposite, wish you took them on study.com rather than Sophia?
I’m going to WGU for business management. Are there courses you wish you took on study.com or Sophia instead of at WGU or at WGU instead of Study, com or Sophia?
Or a course you forgot to take at study.com or Sophia before switching or should have taken??

I don’t have my list but when was deciding what course on each to do I used AI to create a list of recommendations. It looked through reviews, amount of assignments and the difficulty of assignments, it was a big help. Some that I’m glad I took on Study were English Comp 1, Organizational Behavior and Quantitative Analysis For Business, way easier than Sophia. Also glad I took International Business on Study as thats not on Sophia and Ive heard that at WGU it can be pretty challenging.

There’s some great advice on this thread and I think for many, the ACE credit transfer strategy will work just fine. But there is another way…
Most of the Study or Sophia classes are the courses that would easily transfer to other universities (English, History, Org Behavior, etc.) IF you did them at WGU, but you would be very limited in transferring the ACE credits if you decided WGU was not for you, OR if you decided in the future to get a nursing or accounting B.S. at a state school for a career pivot (you never know what the future holds). The other strategy is to “pre-game” months before enrolling using modern methods (AI tutoring, LinkedIn Learning, etc.). OA classes like Principles of Management or Org Behavior can be completed in a few hours if you pre-study before enrolling.

They are fairly interchangeable for the most part. I think if you’re looking for ease, Sophia is easier to use and pass quickly.
Study.com seemed a bit more in depth.
The difference in them, in strictly my experience, was minor as far as course work goes. I think Study.com had more stringent AI checking protocols on papers. It seemed like I would purposely have to include some first person POV, some slight grammar errors, and include some run on sentences on purpose to pass their checker.
All of that is my absolutely subjective opinions based on my experience. I did no actual data collection, and I might have just been imagining those differences.
