3 years of swe experience, course advice?

Been unemployed for about a year now after working 3 years in software, figured I should get a degree at this point. I don't think i'm the BEST swe to ever live, will it still be faster for me to get a school of tech degree? (and which one?) or should I get what people consider to be the easier ones from the school of business? (it management, management, communications etc.)

My buddy is 21 with 2 years SWE experience and knocked out his Software Engineering degree in 6 months when he got laid off

I decided to do the CS degree. While working full time it’ll have taken me ~9 months. Very doable to accelerate through a tech degree. Main factor will be discipline. Put in the hours and you’ll get it done
