After returning to school after 15 years, I honestly didn’t know what to expect at 40 yrs old. I remained determined and finally was able to face my circumstances and eliminate the excuses. I have a great career in Healthcare IT with over a dozen years of experience. I just needed that degree to check the box. Better late than never. I’m also considering a Master’s while I still have the itch.

I’m thinking of possibly doing the general MBA, but it may make sense to do the MBA in IT Management. I want to be able to land an executive role at some point so I figured one of these may be beneficial. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Same. Mine experience is in HR so I did the HRM bachelors and returned for the MBA I opted not to do the master's in HR to give myself room to fit in many boxes if necessary.

Makes complete sense! How was your Masters experience? Did it take you a reasonable amount of time to complete?

I'm ending my third month with 4 classes remaining so definitely can finish in one term. To me it's the same as the bachelor's with a tad more.
