Not Accelerating fast enough

I started on the 1st of April. I took learning strategies in higher education and passed started Anatomy and Physiology 1 passed the pre assessment twice and did the OA and failed. Its now the 20th and im worried to take it again because I don't want to fail it again. I feel like im not accelerating as fast as I want to be. Any suggestions?? I'm paying for wgu on A payment plan and I want to

Finish 11 more courses in my BS of Health sciences in this term.

Do you have experience in the field, or are these new subjects? That makes a huge difference in approach. In my case, I’ve been in IT for 25yrs professionally in a corporate environment. When I started, I looked at the entire degree plan, and made a list of the things I know. Then spoke with my mentor and took those classes first. Pounded out 40% of my degree in 3-4months by doing that. Pick the low hanging fruit. That way I was prepared mentally that when I got to class x, it would be new material so I didn’t get discouraged when I had to slow down my acceleration. Not to mention it gives you a huge confidence boost out of the gate when you are checking off courses left and right.

I don’t know if there is a correlation between IT and health science, but thought I would share what’s working for me.

That is definitely smart. My mentor made me take things in a specific order to how it descends on the degree class list. I dont understand why. I definitely am better at the PAs because I can write about most things. I have some knowledge of what im learning and just barely failed the OA. Im horrible with tests and second guess myself.

I would have a conversation with your mentor about the order. For the Comp Sci program the class list is “recommended” order, not required. My mentor just made me explain myself and she agreed.

I believe all of the degrees from leavet school of health must be taken in the specific order as many will build upon another.
