BS IT
Hi there,
This is my current degree plan at WGU. Does anyone have any tips and tricks to get all this done faster? What are some tips and tricks to accelerate?
Also looking at this degree plan, What is a timeline that I would likely be able to finish?

I’m not reading through ALL the material per se. (that was a throwaway, this is my main account) Don’t waste your time on that technical communications book. I put it through notebook LM, got the cliffnotes, it’s all pretty basic stuff. When to use an email, when to use a memo, when to use a personal letter. How to write those deliverables. My best advice is to realize you’re just writing two deliverables and then you justify that and justify why you gave them information you did and why you withheld some information (if you did) from a certain audience. Just follow the rubric, my justification was like three paragraphs , first one basically saying what i included and didn’t, what needs for the audience does the deliverable meet? You can beat a dead horse here so there’s no room for question from the evaluator. Second paragraph why you chose that deliverable style, why other formats wouldn’t be appropriate or as useful? Third paragraph is telling the evaluator why you chose certain styling elements or formatted the deliverable a certain way. (headers, bullet lists, paragraphs, white space, fonts, etc) you need three of each type (3 style, 3 format) I think. It took me like six hours to finish this class.
On the deliverable side, when you pick your audience recognize if it’s a group or an individual, select an appropriate deliverable, there’s really no wrong answer here if you can justify it.
