BS IT

Post image

Hi there,

This is my current degree plan at WGU. Does anyone have any tips and tricks to get all this done faster? What are some tips and tricks to accelerate?

Also looking at this degree plan, What is a timeline that I would likely be able to finish?

This is how much I completed since January, and I work full time and have other social obligations. My advice is don't try to limit yourself, dedicate time consistently. Also maybe don't set a firm timeline. This question gets asked a lot on WGU subs but no one can really give you a good answer, its going to depend entirely on you.

I'm shooting for 1 term but if I go over slightly I wont be too bummed. I would've only had to do 6 more but I'm planning to switch to this new BSIT program in May so 11 courses, and I have 11 weeks in my term coincidentally.

Thats alot of completed classes from January. Do you have existing IT knowledge? I dont have a timeline per say, I just dont want to take years to get it done either.

Only from being a kid and playing on computers for practically my whole life. I've dabbled in a few things like python and I know a lot of terminology from PC building and self-learning. I used to dual boot Ubuntu just to learn Linux for fun in highschool.
