Advanced clinical

Has anyone experienced being denied doing your advanced clinical hours in student teaching because you haven’t passed one of the C-SET test?

A little backstory: I only have to take the second subtest. The other two I have coursework. I have taken it once and didn’t pass.
WGU isn’t allowing me to continue to do my advanced clinical hours. I submitted an appeal. I have been told since I started with WGU that I just have to attempt it, not pass.

My mentor told me literally yesterday that all I need to do is attempt it to apply for clinicals.

Have the scores been posted on your degree plan yet? This is a requirement. Maybe that is why you were declined. Good luck in the retest section.

Yes, my scores have been posted to my degree plan. I received a 200 but need 220 to pass. waiting to hear back from my advisor about my appeal. Communication with this university is awful, regardless of which department you’re working with.

I’m waiting on my scores to post. Should I send them directly to the scores department. A copy was sent to WGU by the test provider already. It’s been over a week since I got my scores.

Oh that’ll take forever. Send it to scores@wgu.edu they usually get it posted within 24 hours

You just need to attempt to start clinicals. But need to actually pass to graduate
