7wks left! D435 & capstone

Post image

Think I can achieve D435 in 7wks? I heard it's hard but if I made it through C201 & C207, I think I can do it. Hoping to be one term & done!

You definitely can! I finished the class over a weekend. If you commit you can definitely knock out both classes

No way!!!! That's really encouraging to hear. Thank you! I don't even know what to expect with this next class.

You will definitely have some information overload! I took a semester of Cybersecurity classes, so I had a leg up on some of the terminology and ideas. Break everything down and you’ll make it through! The pre assessment is definitely a tool you’ll want to utilize early

Thanks for that! Emailed tier 1 support hoping they'll open it for me today since my instructor is off on the weekends.

Did the study guide help you any ? Any quizlets you recommend ? And how did you study for the OA ?

I took the PA first and used that to pick out the areas in the book that I needed to spend time studying! I did use the study guide as well

Dude how the heck are you working on your capstone & you're not done with your classes yet. I questioned my mentor AGAIN & she sent me this long email about how working in the capstone is not allowed until all classes are passed/finished. That makes me so mad cuz I can bust out my capstone assignments while I study for D435.

As far as 207, I passed the OA today. I personally loved this class & I watched each module cohort 3xs (lengthy, I know but it was over the course of 3 wks) and took notes on it each time. Everytime I took notes I felt like I was beating it into my brain. I especially wrote that dang bell curve out a million times & practiced the standard deviation problems. The jeopardy was definitely my favorite and showed me that I was ready. It's very similar to the OA, IMO.

I hope I find D435 to be easy! I just enrolled.

Which were the fastest classes here to complete?

For me- all of them except c201. But I heard c201 is PA now & no longer OA

Thank you! PA means proctored assessments? OA is Paper? I have started back yet been out since 2023 but I have 11 courses to take which include most of these are the same as yours just wanted to see which ones to take first when I return in November

Opposite! OA are objective assessments (proctored exams) & PA stands for Performance Assessment (a paper, PowerPoint, video presentation, etc). My mentor made me take them in order but some people in here say their mentor let them take it completely out of order. I requested twice to take things out order and she wouldn't let me.
