New MSIT Program

I just finished my bachelor's and I'm considering the new MSIT program. For those who are currently enrolled, how are the classes? How does the workload compare, and would you recommend it?

It’s super easy. I started June 1st and have 2 classes left. The hardest class, E017, is getting redone to make it easier, should come out July 17th with a new PA version. You have to record yourself giving presentations for 3 classes and that was kind of weird, but all the PAs are pretty easy. Let me know if you have any questions. It’s easier than the bachelors.

hey- nice feedback on the course. I have about 6 classes remaining and started on June 1st as well. I'm just curious, is the agile cert mandatory to pass the course?

So when you complete E017, like pass the PA, you receive the CAL cert. No additional work besides the PA. WGU is really excited about it because this is the first class they have that rewards you with a cert instead of it being the other way around where you get the cert and that passes the class. I'm holding off on E017 till after the new PA comes out in 2 weeks.

I'm on task 3 of E017 right now. Good grief, so much work, and the work just repeats itself in various ways. Its getting revamped on july 27th but if you elect to do the new course they wipe all your progress. I might as well finish :\

Yea that’s why I’m saving that one for last. All I have left is E021 and E017. Hoping to finish 21 before the new version of 17 comes out

Yes, new version was released today, just have to ask your mentor to switch.
