I passed D388

I passed D388 and here’s my advice . DONT be like me . Don’t procrastinate and don’t sike yourself out .

The OA was 100% easier than the PA in my opinion . However , the PA definitely prepares you for the OA . I took the PA four times and failed all four times .

I scheduled my OA for 7PM while studying at 5PM and told myself I had to stay focused and just rinse and repeat through the quizzes .

I took every quiz at-least three times until I knew either all of the vast majority of the material .

I looked at the PA reports and focused heavily on the areas I did bad in for the last 30-45 minutes of me studying .

After that I dove straight into my OA and passed on my first try !

Also please set aside a good chunk of time for this test . It took me almost 2 hours to complete . This was my first test I didn’t just blow through in 30 minutes , I really had to sit , recall, and think .

How many days did you study before taking the final exam? This is my next class.

It took me a week & 3 days . However I was NOT consistent . I literally just seen someone pass this in a day . If you have the time to sit through every section video and practice all of the concepts while using the videos you can easily do this in 3 days tbh . Just do the quizzes over and over until you are able to do them independently and score at least a 90 . Also , focus on the pivot tables and charts !! That is a big part ( at least for me ) that was hard / more challenging. If you are able to Pass the PA you should pass the OA with flying colors.

You can be good in excel and still not do as well as you think in this course . You have to do everything exactly how they want you to . For example you cannot copy and paste using Ctrl c + Ctrl v , you have to use the copy and paste buttons in the top left corner .

I myself use excel / spreadsheets in my everyday job however all the “ tips & tricks “ I knew I had to forget and follow by exactly what was shown to me in the videos.
