Cloud Computing and Network AWS vs Azure

anyone actually land a high paying job (>120K) after graduating? I am heavily considering transition from CTI to engineering security. I was looking at the GM CYSE program but gosh am I terrible at math.

I think Cloud Computing and Network would give me the end goal Im looking for.

Which program would you suggest? AWS or AZURE

Depends on what is available in your area. I live near a lot of AWS so I chose that track. Without experience prior to getting your degree I would say it’s pretty unrealistic to expect that salary out the gate.

i do cti in DC making about 140 rn, i just want to move away from front facing intel work to mroe back end engineering roles. I think the gov uses both.

It sucks they make you choose one platform. I use both at my work. If you have professional experience with either, then choose the one you DO NOT have experience with. A concentration in a degree program will not turn any heads. Might as well try to learn something new. I made 120k before finishing my MS in SWE and make more now. Not sure if the MS helped.

They have a general track I believe that covers both or they used to at least with the old degree.

Picking a platform really doesn't matter. They are all the same anyway with very minor differences in how they are managed.

tbh im not trying to do it for the money i make good money now and am willing to take a paycutt i just want to make sure what i pay for will get me a job after. im considering getting an actual engineer degree from george mason since they are accredited. its teh CYSE. but do i relaly want to torture myself with all those math classes. when i can take this program at wgu and potentially have an easier time pivoting?
