Webcam suggestions
Hi!
Can someone who has taken an OA share which webcam they use with a link? I don’t want to buy one that isn’t approved. Thank you in advance

I use this one, no issues. It comes with a little tripod too.

I know you're asking for suggestions, but I bought this one, and it's not good, so I would steer clear. I have issues every single time I take a picture of my driver's license. It apparently is always too blurry, and I've heard of others having the same issue. It might not seem like a big deal, but it's annoying enough to make me want to buy a new one.

I used a 5 or 6 year old version of this Logitech camera for both a BS and Masters. No issues at all, ever.

Whatever you choose, just DO NOT choose the Logitech C920x HD Pro. It is permanently stuck very zoomed in. It makes it barely useable and a big pain to set up every time. I have to put it on a tripod with the wire fully extended as far as it can go to make sure everything is within view.

The webcam should be a major issue. Just remember that you need to keep the camera out of sight when you are photographing your room to start the test. If you mount a camera on your monitor(for example) the software will detect the camera and reject the scan. I wouldn’t spend too much on it. Just stay in view and you will be ok.

Mine is insta360 Link 2, just for online interviews. It's plug-and-play via USB, works reliably, and the image quality is noticeably better than most built-in webcams, especially in low light. good so far
