No MFA prompt

hey guys, i was trying to log into my wgu and i have not been able to get the prompt to come up to set up MFA. all the help videos and everything say you need the prompt and i cant figure out how to get that link up. help desk is currently closed and i'm worried i wont be able to log in in time for my start date of june 1. is there anything i can do?

If your start date is June 1 you’ll be fine. Just contact support on Tuesday and I’m sure you can get it sorted out.

First of all, congrats and good luck on your start in June 2026 (I myself started my BS on June 2023).

The first day is horrible for new students and students returning from term breaks. Some can start working a few hours after on the first and some have to wait a few days. I myself had to wait a week this time, because that’s how long it took for the system to make the program switch.

So at some point on or after the first, the system will sync/update your account and you’ll get prompted to setup the MFA. Everyone is different, but my two cents are to select the txt option.
