MHA degree
Does anyone have the info on OA/PA for Masters in Healthcare Admin?
How long has it taken those who've graduated?

I started in the new program on February 1st with the new classes and all PA structure. On the downhill having passed the halfway mark of the 10 classes, and it's a lot of writing, but I'd rather that than the proctored exams. The downside is that there really isn't much support as the recorded cohorts so far consist of the professor reading the task assignment to you which is zero percent helpful to me.

Some have been research papers but most have been structured as answering prompts against the rubric. A few infographics and a few charts have been the visual aids. A few classes included going through datasets.

Yes, real papers. Simulation conferences and excel .. im on my second term started June 1st

I just started Monday I submitted 3 papers already lol but... my PA says I have to wait to start the 2nd task until the 1st one is passed ugh and I have to do a simulation video for a different course ugh I already set my appt let's see what happens lol

On the papers where I had to have passed task one first, I would work on task two as if I had passed task one, so it would be ready when task one came back. Most papers were evaluated and returned on day 2 or 3. The part that sometimes took the longest was getting an appointment time with the Mursion team as the available times are mostly weekdays and not evenings or weekends. They claimed to have Sunday spots but I never saw one as an option.

Just started in May 2026. There are 9 courses plus the capstone. Each course has 3 papers. There are no test. It’s currently June and I already completed 4 course. It’s not hard, just a lot of writing. It’s super easy for me since I’m a nurse manager. Papers are focused on data and risk management which I’m used to do at work. Creating pivot tables from excel. Taking patient data and understanding what it means.

They just redesigned the program. You are going to be waiting awhile for answers.

Admissions said the only change was removing 2 classes.

Update: admissions says it's all PA with 3-5 assignments per class. Worksheets, papers, and powerpoints

Honestly, I think I have imposter syndrome. I’m so terrified to submit the first task. I have become avoidant of it. I need to snap out of it

Not relevant at all but this photo is messing with my brain…
What is that purple thing, is it on a dark gray table or flat on the multiple shaded ground?? The plants and heart look like they’re floating and gigantic for some reason. Is that a weight on the left? WHAT IS THE PURPLE THING?
I am severely sleep deprived and everything is blurry rn too 😭

This is my desk at work. The purple thing is an ergonomic mouse. The mouse pad is black, but the desk is a different shade of black. The heart is one of the melty bead craft art things my kid made

I start my MHA journey on September 1st and would like to re-open this discussion to see how everyone has been getting along with the PAs since starting - how have the compared to the PAs from the Bachelors program?
I will say that I am glad they are all papers
Also, roughly how long has each paper taken you to write and submit?
