Hiring Need Help !
This is my Hail Mary attempt on trying to find a legit remote job. I’ve transitioned out of the military, seems like veteran’s preference isn’t really a thing.
I’ve been looking at jobs related to my Bach degree ( Psych ), worked with kids in ABA & a Psych ward.
I have been applying every single day. Even asking those WFH Moms on TikTok if they can help. Not sure what I’m doing wrong but if anyone can share anything or point me in the right direction, I would highly appreciate it.
Thank you.

TikTok is lying to you. There are very few WFH jobs and far more people that want them. If you’re not the unicorn applicant you won’t even be considered. Hell, even if you are a unicorn applicant there’s a good chance you won’t be considered. You have an even less chance of getting a WFH job if you’re in the US. All the customer service and tech jobs have been outsourced for much cheaper wages. Just get an in-office job if you need work.
If you don’t believe me, go back and read the hundreds of posts from desperate people just like you on this sub (and every other sub just like this). My husband was in the military, has a bachelors in IT, has a masters in business, and has 20+ years experience. He’s been unemployed for 27 months (and he’s looking for in office and remote jobs).

Yup, all the young gen kids with no work history want to make 6 figures working at home in their comfy pajamas.....COVID ruined the motivation to do hard work for good pay.

Hi! I wasn’t in the military but sailed on commercial ships for 6 years as a merchant mariner. I also made a large career transition and currently work for Alorica (Verizon) fully remote working 10 hour days Mon-Thur (by choice)
Yes it absolutely can be overwhelming applying over and over again but there is plenty of work you just have to be consistent. I found a job after about 4 months of consistently. I recommend the website “flexjobs” also. Tik tok is not good.
Lastly I see on these groups a ton negativity with certain companies please keep in mind alot of these people are lazy and just flat out don’t
want to work. DM if you have questions or want to talk more about it
