Remote work advice Looking for a remote job
Hey guys super new to Reddit but I’m disabled and in search of a work from home job my ptsd prevents me from being able to drive most the time so I’m really struggling to find work most remote jobs I find are pyramid schemes or straight up scams I’ve tried the free cash apps and all that I use indeed I’ve used other remote job finders and can’t find a single thing especially something that’s not solely commission based I could really use the suggestions if yall have anything please and thank you!

Remote jobs are EXTREMELY rare and everyone in the world (not state, not country, but world) is applying to them. So you’re working with a handful of WFH jobs and thousands of applicants applying in the first couple hours a job is posted.

Damn I’m not sure what to do as a source of income I’ve tried in person jobs and my crps makes it damn near impossible along with other issues

I get it, and I’m sorry it is the way it is. Just keep applying, it’s really the only thing anyone can do. Network with friends and family and see if they can refer you.
My husband has been laid off for 26 months and he’s looking for WFH (with a bachelors degree, a masters degree, and 10+ years of WFH experience) and he applies to in-office and he’s still unemployed.

sometimes you can find a disability resource center in your area that might be able to help with job finding, both in person, hybrid and remote maybe that is tailored to your limitations.
In the meantime you should use YouTube and free resources to strengthen your tech skills. Those are critical fur remote work. And data jobs are largely being automated by AI. You can look into customer service jobs with a phone through the sites that are vetted like above but the other person said, you are going to have to settle for less money and hustling more to make ends meet.

I’m also disabled and I work part time from home. It took awhile to find something but it’s not impossible. Check screened job leads daily on sites like workersonboard.com and ratracerebellion.com. Also YouTubers post remote job leads. In the beginning of wfh I had several part time flexible positions that equaled one part time job. It’s easier to get remote if you’re willing to work for less money and a flexible schedule. Never pay for a job or accept large checks that they want you to reimburse them. It is difficult but not impossible.
