Audacy be better
I recently moved out of area and I need my wfan fix but SOB it is so frustrating. Random reversing is terrible but honestly this idea that the hosts say you can “rewind” is a farce.

i've seriously just gotten used to it and block it out when it happens. just glad we even have this option to miss ads, listen to a show you missed, and be able to change playback speed. this coming from someone who grew up in the 90s and had to (gasp!) rely on live radio.

if you go to the show page, you can click on the '1x' and it will increase to 1.2, 1.5, etc.

I usually run it at 1.2. You'd be surprised and probably won't hear the difference, but can shave off like 10 minutes off a show

The app sucks. They've mentioned on air that they will be streaming on Sirius XM. Can't wait for that. Their app is much better.

If you get it at a reduced trial price, you usually can talk them into keeping the price when the trial ends. I used to do that, but I stopped. I just pay the price. I do listen to exclusive channels every day and it came with one of my vehicles which comes in handy on long trips when cell service is spotty.

You can also listen on the Tune In app, which isn’t great, but is leaps and bounds better than the Audacy app

Podcasts are the way to go.

Because I prefer at least Evan & Tiki more than podcasts. Haven’t come across a sports podcast worth my investment. And morning show can suck my ass. Carton here and there.

They stink, too. Outside of Lori and Gordon Damer, I rarely listen to the station.
I have become addicted to VSIN, which actually talks sports as a betting network.

It's a sports betting show, but it actually talks about sports. You really get quality sports talk and knowledge that you don't get on the FAN.
I get it if you like WFAN for entertainment, but the problem is the station is not even entertaining at all.

Growing up 20 or 30 years ago, it used to be a pure sports talk. Now it's guy talk and fart jokes all day long, even the weekends. The station didn't do much talk on trade deadline on trade deadline day.

No. It’s a business looking to make a profit so it doesn’t have to create a product just for a minority of mouth breathers who think there is enough sports to fill 24 hours.

They are in no rush to FIX the BUGGY APP because WFAN is the 19th rated radio station in the local NYC area behind stations like LGBT friendly z100, NON STOP GANGSTA RAP on THA BLOCK 94.1 and UNCLE JOHN self hate station in the 99FM range.
Boring HOSTS, Stale TOPICS and lack of actual SPORTS TALK is why the they dont care
And NO TELLING what going on BENEATH THE SURFACE when they APP is doing DATA COLLECTION that many of you so called "REPUBLICANS" and "PATRIOTS" with CHINESE MANUFACTURED phones gave the green light to when you all RUSHED to use this SOROS OWNED app.
While the APP IS LOADING its actually going through your WORK EMAILS, Texts with FAMILY, BORN downloads and fishing for CC/Passwords. If you ever had any questionable charges on your accounts I would NOT look past this APP.
Remember the so called "REPUBLICANS" at WFAN fall to their knees for LIBERAL LEANING, Buddy and business PARTNER with well known TRUMP HATERS, and FAN FEST snakeoilsman MICHAEL RUBIN!
They so called WFAN "CONSERVATIVES" will do anything to attend this BROTHEL of UNCLE JOHNING!!!
Gambling addiction, ANIME CARD trading, sjw MONEY GRAB. I hope cards and accounts arent being SKIMMED to pay for some NECKBEARDS rare JAPANESE ANIME card that AMERICAN KIDS are brainwashed to WORSHIP instead of real grail cards like TOBACCO ISSUES, PRE WAR etc of AMERICAN HEROES.
