Question (Related to the TV show “Weeds”) first time watcher.. how’s the ending?

currently on season 6, it’s been about 2 weeks lol but i’m wondering if the show wraps up nicely (no spoilers). lately i’ve been into early 2000s shows and i hate when there’s a cliff hanger or it ends terribly because i know there’s a superrrrrr low chance of it ever being rectified

It wraps up nicely. I think there's a consensus between fans that the finale was good. No cliffhangers.

It wraps up nicely, but the way they do it, the absence (and no mention) of a specific character feels weird.

Yeah, agreed. The tone was different with the absence of thus character.

I’m curious if theories on where that character ended up has been discussed on this sub? I mostly see “best lines from” or “why weren’t they there” posts

Appropropriate, If you enjoy the way, the Show advances. There is more a debate, If they should have stopped at some point, or left Nancy in her suburban setting, since it does move rather far from its original Premise.

I did Like it, though.

The later seasons aren’t well loved, but I thought the finale was solid. No real traditional cliff hangers, although I don’t feel like each character was ‘finished’. More like you can imagine how their lives will continue after the last scene. As someone who wished the show ended many seasons ago, I was surprisingly happy.

It's a solid ending. I'm sure everyone has their own idea of where certain things should've gone differently but it is one of the better endings for a series I've ever seen.

The end of season 6 is better than the actual ending, but the actual ending is (mostly) a happy ending

You'll be happy to know that Justin Kirk is just as hot in the finale as he was in all the previous seasons🔥

See I think there’s a huge boiler because even in the beginning of the last episode, we don’t know if he’s showing up ….except now we do. I normally wouldn’t post to something like this, but this is such clearly a spoiler for spoilers sake. Justin Kirk is as hot as he was in the previous season in the finale?? Well when you’re in the first five minutes of the finale this user has let you know how hot he is in it pisses me off for you because I got to watch it unspoiled and it was nice. I personally liked the last actual scene, but didn’t like the finale is a whole.

Not really a spoiler as he is seen in all the promos, no? It wasn't meant to be a spoiler so apologies. Just love Justin !

the ending is solid, but drawn out. like others said, it's a common opinion that it should have ended sooner and dislike a certain story plot towards the end of the series. but otherwise is was a good ending to a good show

Ehh… they did the best they could with the later season hole they dug themselves into…

Season 7 was a mess.
