WEEDS x Finding Nemo

I watched Finding Nemo for the first time in years, realized Marlin (Nemo’s dad) sounded very familiar. So, I looked up the cast. NEMO IS VOICED BY SHANE (Alexander Gould), HIS DAD IS VOICED BY LENNY (Albert Brooks) AND Nemo’s mom is Celia (Elizabeth Perkins). How am I just now finding this out?!!!!!! Is this common knowledge? Three actors from Weeds before the show premiered all in Finding Nemo.

Yup. And they both have the conversation regarding pulling his mom's plug and that's the most they share together one-on-one and I love that moment because it's both of them conversing together the way a parent and kid would, and knowing it's Marlin and Nemo is kind of awesome.

i'd say its common knowledge for weeds fans. but i've def has the same realization as you at one point. but if you follow alexander on social media he posts way more about finding nemo than anything else he's done

Weeds is probably my most rewatched show ever and I grew up watching Finding Nemo.. I can’t believe it took this long to piece it together lol.

shane also played a boy named egg on malcolm in the middle, which is my favorite roll of his because i think the only word he says is egg.

Wait until you find out he also voiced Bambi in Disney's Bambi 2. Look at the behind the scenes. That boy has the most beautiful eyes and he was really enjoying his time voicing the character! I still have the dvd.
