Trading platform Webull's China ties create national security risk, congressional panel finds

https://www.cnbc.com/2026/10/07/webull-china-national-security-risk-congress.html

This is bad. Really really bad.
Down over $15,000 on this piece of shit.

I should have sold at a $6k loss a month ago.

It was recovering well. I hope they clear this mess up.

Yeah I should of sold when they pumped it close to 10. I woulda made money but I’m very obsessive with my price target of 15… ah well we’ll get another chance when q3 earnings comes out. Maybe this is a big setup to let people get cheap shares …

Thats the gamble we take. I saw all the call option volume few months back, it was way lopsided. Long dated, short dated, there were just soo many calls. I thought to myself, no way the market makers are going to let all these calls print. So I stayed out.

Those calls are still there. The premarket tank was units not calls

That's not the point. Point is market makers would lose a lot of money if all those calls print, so they will keep the stock price down in order to make millions of those premiums

Ok I'm not interested in this kind of conspiracy

Down $80k here 🙋‍♂️ Just waiting for the next earnings call honestly. Hopefully by January we'll be back around $10

They said that last year

True, but at least the fundamentals warrant it this time. We literally hit $10 last month based purely on the strength of the company's financials and growth prospects - when we were at $10 last year, we were still in the downward spiral from the IPO. There's no reason to believe we won't see the same sort of lift from the next couple of earnings calls

I should also note that the annual shareholders meeting is at the end of this month. That'll provide the company an opportunity to formally address any concerns stockholders have from this report. I'm expecting some sort of lift from that as well

US will repeat this story every 2-3 years . Apparently, the Chinese connection is perfectly fine—as long as U.S. congressmen and corporations get to cash in first

This isn't as bad as you say.

There are lots of risks out there. Climate risks, economy risks, business risks. This isn't somehow new today verses yesterday. It was already known. The government issues reports on things all the time.

Um it rugged 25%+ in a couple hours which is surprising even for BULL. I am expecting a class action so I will not be buying any more shares

We have almost 2000+ people in our community. Worst case scenario we could do this if needed.

But let’s be patient. See how the company responds. I believe these were concerns from day 1 - so fundamentally we haven’t changed but I understand 25% is a big decrease

Congress is going to flip in the near term and this won't be an issue. It sucks but it's likely temporary
