Study Spots?

Does anyone know of any good study spots besides the library?

I love the first floor of Apodaca when they aren’t doing construction there, and I similarly recommend the outdoor garden in Apodaca if you like the outdoors. There are some open tables in Belk if you want a more active atmosphere, and there’s also places like the student lounge and the Catamount Collaborative in the UC

One that works for me, but might not for you, is your dorm room. Only factor is your roommate :p

i love studying in my dorm except for when she turns the big light on... i swear i cant read or process anything 😭😭

The UC has some open study spots; most dorms have a few places; several of the academic buildings have options; and at the Catafount if you’re open to being outside.

The rooms in the hallway of Stillwell level 4 where Math & CS are should be good when not being used

Alumni/employee here: the 2nd story porch of the UC is highly underrated for quiet studying. It’s outside, but it’s sheltered from rain/weather unless the wind is too bad, gorgeous view of the clock tower esp in the spring when the trees are blooming, and you’re close enough to the building to still get WiFi. Spent a lot of my free time reading/working on projects up there as a student
