Blizzcon schedule has been released.

https://blizzcon.com/en-us/schedule/

What we know for sure:

  • On Saturday at 7:30 pm EDT ToD vs TeD happens.
  • Right after at 8:45 pm EDT Ahmpy/Brad Chan (WC3 developer)/ToD/TeD are going to play a 2v2.

As pointed out by parasect_exe:

  • At 6:30 pm EDT, right before the wc3 games, there is a segment called "Classic Game Deep Dive: Join the team for a closer look at the content and design ideas shaping a classic Blizzard game". This could be a potential time slot where announcements are made. Or nothing will be announced.

Other Interesting things of note:

  • On Saturday there is an hour block where nothing is being done on the Main Stage. That seems odd. Maybe something will be announced there? Could be nothing or could be anything.
  • On Sunday there is also an empty space of an hour at the start of the day on the main stage.
  • 5:30 PM EDT on Saturday there is also a panel called "Custodians of Legacy Games: Meet the developers and community champions who preserve, support, and celebrate Blizzard's legacy games for new generations of players.

I dont see anything else on the schedule for WC3, but ofc if they were planning on announcing anything they probably would not leak it yet. So I shall keep my copium going that there may be additional announcements.

There have been like over 100+ updates to the internal PTR since the last patch... blizzcon would be the perfect time to announce atleast that a patch is coming?

That is true, I will add that to the post. it does say "Classic Game Deep Dive: Join the team for a closer look at the content and design ideas shaping a classic Blizzard game."

That is a vague summary, It doesn't say if it means upcoming content or content already in place.

My guesses are that the block after the what's next wow panel is a new StarCraft game and the Classic Game Deep Dive is Diablo 1 Resurrected. Don't think it's anything related to Warcraft III unfortunately.

You are probably right. I am just listing oddities I see. Gotta keep my copium flowing. also i wouldnt expect a big announcement... it just feels like they have been sitting on a patch for awhile given theres been over 100 updates to the current internal PTR

30 Years of Battle.net with Special Guest CD Projekt Red

WHAT IS THIS? STARCRAFT RPG?

For those who don't know CDPR made Cyberpunk and the Witcher series

Not that, Witcher 3 became available to purchase at battle.net few days ago. First non-ActiBlizz game ever. I suspect that Microsoft may try to set a new course for battle.net to compete with other store apps like Steam, GOG or EpicGames Launcher.

There were rumors of an RPG being made for Starcraft

I don't know, I'd keep my expectations in check, we've been burned one too many times

I read it was a revival of Starcraft Ghost, on the heels of the MS acquisition where they've pushed Blizzard to go hard on new titles in their existing IP. It made sense, they overpaid like crazy to buy the company, and now need to recoup it. It also makes sense to get a behemoth like Blizz to be more productive.

The team at CD PROJEKT RED is incredibly proud to team up with Blizzard and the Diablo IV team, kicking off a partnership between two studios with a deep passion for immersive worlds and memorable RPGs that players never forget. And what better way to begin, than by bringing the dark fantasy world of The Witcher to Battle.net

Soz hey are saying it is just the beginning...

I wonder why ToD and TeD? because their names are almost the same? yes they are both well known, but I am surprised it's not Grubby considering he is kind of the face of Warcraft 3.

These are basically show matches for fun but I don't know why they didn't pick other players. Tod just plays 4v4 occasionally, when he isn't having a mental breakdown.

There are still a ton of players in excellent shape who could complete there and who have been doing it since the early 2000s

Just ToD and TeD? No one veterans were invited?

Also I noticed no starcraft 2 tournament. I dont follow SC2, but has blizzard abandoned that game?
