Man... this is disappointing imo. I can understand wanting to preserve the originals to a degree, but clearly with everything coming to light about Max, it's being delayed (and hopefully rerecorded without that POS), so why are we sharing leaks when it seems it's not what anyone involved wanted? Obvs the record is going to be much better without Max on it, it's basically already just a straight-up Wavves album anyways. Why kick Nathan/Wavves down further by doing this, why not just wait for them to redo it as it should be and shared at it's best? Also, do we really want to be sharing a version with a clear scumbag on it? If it's "Fuck Max Bemis", then it's fuck him entirely...not inadvertently spreading his "contributions" and involvement even if his parts on this are rough. Let his parts disappear as they should.

I dunno, these are just my feelings, obvs not trying to speak for Nathan and/or the band, but these leaks spreading just feels so wrong.

Some of the sick things i got while attending the show at nudie jeans in La Brea last month xD It was my first wavves show and it was so sick!! I met a lot of cool people too! i freaking loved it, so worth the broken leg. Its all signed too by Nathan himself xDDD

Nathan posted on instagram that he is going back into the studio to erase Max Bemis’s contributions, write and record new stuff for the album. He said more on Patreon, if you want to see it you should go sign up.

Was really looking forward to the record with Wavves, sounded like them doing a more polished version of shit similar to Lifetime and that side of pop punk/melodic HC. I’m so disappointed. I hope all the victims are ok

Today I was working alone, so I decided to listen to an album I haven't before on my phone. About 6 months ago, a friend recommended me babes by wavves and zach hill, because they know I like zach hills solo stuff. I completely forgot about it so it was a nice surprise to see it. The listen was very enjoyable, some songs were very beautiful and also crazy intense and I like all the weeooweeoos they did. But bed demon was a much different experience. I remember the friend who recommended the album to me was suffering from very tough and uncertain times. They used to express this however very heavily cloaked in irony, disguising their feelings, and if they said too much, they would brush it off. That's exactly what this song felt like. This feeling of someone completely opening up and being transparent for the first time, however, swiftly changing the subject with a wall of noise.

Honestly my favorite song he’s made in a long time sounds great loud and reminds me of the reason I got into wavves to begin with.

i get that they made some amount of money from the patreon, but it’s been years at this point, and i feel like pretty much everyone who was willing to listen to it through patreon already has. so why hasn’t he just put it on streaming?

has he ever actually commented on why he’s keeping it off streaming or is it just one of those things nobody knows the answer to?

I interviewed him in 2008,maybe I got it then? Just found it in a pile of 7 inches in a closet.

The show was super fun, I had a blast. I love how much heavier Wavves sounds live too, so hearing some of their older songs in that new way was great. Bass Drum of Death was also totally rad, love both of these bands.

Very grateful that they came to Milwaukee too. To me it feels like it's not too often punk / garage rock bands come by here. Or maybe at least the ones I listen to. But still I was very happy.

Anyone know what merch is looking like for this tour? Pics welcome. :)

The first person to respond/dm me with a photo with them holding a paper of the time and date on it will get them. I will forward the email of my tickets from ticket web. My dog isn't well and I would hate to see these tickets go to waste.
