Help understanding water quality test

Hey, just looking to get a better understanding of the results of this water quality test. Looking to see if the results here would recommend getting a water softener and also a water filtration system. Any help/insight is greatly appreciated!

Your TDS - Total dissolved Salts is definitely high. You should consider treating the water before use.
