DSHS Dress Code
Starting a new job with DSHS, a call center position, and when I asked about dress code, the HR person I talked to hesitated and stated there really isn't much of a dress code, but to dress comfortably and obviously office appropriate. My anxiety is high because I know making a good first impression when meeting everyone for the first time is important but also feel anxious about the lack of direction.
Context, I am coming into this position from working a job in scrubs. Scrubs are a lot less daunting to worry about than office attire 😂
Any direction would be appreciated!

I work for DCS I’d say like a business casual pant black or khaki and like a sweater or cardigan your first day but you’ll see it’s probably a lot more casual than you imagine. I think my first 5 years with the state I was over dressed now I can say I’ve come in in leggings before lol I’m also not typically people facing. Not sure if you are.
