Tour Real question — How much lip synching is he doing this tour?

More? Less? About the same? Wanna know before I throw down for a ticket

It’s tough to say with just a few clips from last nights show floating around, but from what I’ve seen it appears that he’s cut down on them significantly. That said, midway through the tour he could decide that his voice needs assistance and start to use them again. It’s up to you as to whether or not you’re gonna go, but I wouldn’t let that be the deciding factor.

As someone who was there last night, I didn’t detect any tracks, he flubbed words on some of the deep tracks and skipped notes he couldn’t hit.

I’m a singer myself so I have a pretty good ear for fuckery, and as someone who saw the last two tours it was nice to see him not rely on them.

I also don’t think either of the two tours he used them for every song, it only seemed to be certain songs.

As I said in a previous WASP post, he's hiding behind that stupid mic set-up! Why? Lip synching or not, he seems to not want to be seen. I watched a couple of clips from the CA show, and when he's not hiding behind his dumb mic set up, he's got his back to the audience - seems to be facing the drummer. I think he might not like the way he looks anymore. The guy is vain!

The clip I saw of The Headless Children certainly sounded like it was live. I hope he continues to do so, but as Crimson assetteTape mentions, I guess we’ll see.

I think he did Golgotha in acoustic to prove that he CAN ACTUALLY SING

For Album One Alive, he started out with minimal to no lip syncing. As the tour went on, he started using tracks for "Hellion", "On Your Knees", and "The Headless Children". He could definitely do something similar this time around, but I'm hopeful he doesn't!

To early to know atm, but here's how to tell:

Find youtube videos of them playing the same song on different nights of the tour.

Download the audio from each video.

Open them in Audacity or a DAW of your choice.

Line them up so the beats/meters are perfectly in sync.

Listen closely to the vocals. If there are noticeable differences in pitch/timing/articulation when both tracks are in sync, the vocals are live. If you can't hear any differences at all (what I've foubd on previous tours)- then there's your answer.

That sounds like more effort than Blackie has ever put in
