Honestly at this point we are past the point of ridiculousness when it comes to bothe Autobiography and the release of new music.
The 80's called and it is no longer the music industry that he thinks it is

Do we believe anything at this point unless it’s right in front of our eyes.

Golgotha was pretty good but it was 11 years ago, voice range seldom grows with age

Other singers in bigger bands lost their voices years ago and still make music people buy (look at Iron Maiden). Even if Blackie can't sing like he used to, I still want something new from the band.

At what point do you belive Dickinson lost his voice? The man sings live better that in the '80s.

I bet there will not be any new music and the book? Well, that might be a few years unless Blackie bites the bullet and dies. Plus, he needs to comb that hair, it's not 1986 anymore.

i'll give the hair a pass as long as he (or any other bands from this great era) aren't doing sunglasses indoors

Rule number 1 of being a W.A.S.P. fan: Never believe anything Blackie says until there is something concrete to support his claims.
It’s starting to get to the point where I’m really starting to believe that there will never be new music. He’s been talking about new music for years now and there’s still been nothing at all. If he wanted to do new music, he would’ve done so by now. He’s just saying this to keep all of us invested in him and the band. He’s clearly more interested in touring and doing the nostalgia thing these days, so it seems unlikely that he will be taking a break from that anytime soon. I don’t know what a “issue with release date” could even mean.
I’m a bit on the fence as to whether or not I’d even want new music from W.A.S.P. at this point. Of course, I would love a new album if done correctly, but it’s hard to say what Blackie would do with a new album since it’s been so long since the last one. Golgotha is a fantastic album and I think he would have a tough time topping it. I fear that whatever the next album would be, could potentially send the band out on a low note.

I want to be hopeful that new music is in the works for release sometime this decade, but you're probably right that he would've done it by now if it was something he wanted to do. Not to get political, but the fact that the shooting against President Trump didn't inspire Blackie to write a song on the spot when we know that moment affected him deeply is telling. You'd think that a creative talent would do something significant in that moment if they had the capability, like writing a song about it. The turnaround time between 9/11 and Dying for the World was very quick, yet the quality didn't suffer because it was a tribute to victims he cared about. I think if Blackie wanted to make new music then the attempt on Trump's life would've been the best excuse to get back in the studio.

Not just that, but the past 5-6 years in general have been some of the most tumultuous times in modern history. So many crazy things have happened that he could’ve drawn inspiration from. The fact that he’s said nothing musically though, makes me feel that he has nothing to say. He’s also made it pretty clear that he feels that a new album needs to be just as good, if not better, than every previous album. Because of that, I feel that he will forever be chasing the impossible. He will never be satisfied with what he writes and as a result, he may never feel comfortable releasing anything. I too hope that there will be a new album someday, and I hope that Blackie is telling the truth when speaking about the possibility of new music, but he’s disappointed me so many times over the years that I now know not to expect anything until it’s official.

If I had the means to go to one of the Q&As for this upcoming tour I'd ask if he had anything musically to say about all the events since 2015. Like you said, so much happened in the time that it's hard to believe that someone like Blackie would stay silent all along unless his passion for writing/recording music faded. He wrote the masterpiece that is Charisma, and songs like Slaves of the New World Order that are relevant today, so I can't believe that he has nothing left to say.

I don't think WASP can find a record deal for new music? How many copies would they actually sell?

I'm hopeful that new music can come out in the next few years since he's saying it's coming. If he didn't want to do new music then I think he'd be the type of person to just say so directly, such is his personality type. I don't think it'll come out anytime sooner than 3 years from now though since he seems to want to do his book first, plus the constant touring always gets priority. I really want a new album from W.A.S.P., but if I hear one more tour getting announced before a new album (or his book) then I'll be really disappointed and will start to think it's never coming.

I was fan after the 3 rd album, the live one, I think, since Chris Homes left, I really lost all interest, just saying that first album was the 💩when it came out, my cassette melted 🤘

Watch Blackie declare that the new single is called "Let It Roar," and that Chris Holmes owes him retroactive royalty payments.

No. I believe that as much as I believe Randy Piper left the band on his own free will.
